Perseverance

This narrative-driven parkour game places the player inside Erik’s mind as he processes the loss of his father. As Erik moves through the five stages of grief, the parkour mechanics subtly shift—movement becomes unstable, aggressive, repetitive, heavy, and finally fluid—mirroring his changing emotional state.

Through abstract environments, fragmented memories, and internal reflection, the player is invited to experience grief not as a problem to solve, but as a journey to move through. The game explores themes of loss, responsibility, and choice, asking whether we are destined to repeat the past—or capable of forging our own path.
